A liposuction procedure is a treatment that can be done by itself, but many people like to combine it with other cosmetic procedures such as an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), breast augmentation, facelifts, and beyond.

Who is an ideal candidate for Liposuction?

Liposuction first and foremost is NOT a weight-loss solution — it’s ideal for those who are close to their goal weight and need assistance with areas of localized fat. Liposuction FAQs

How soon will I see results after liposuction?

There will be some minimal swelling and bruising following surgery. Once the swelling goes down, you will start noticing an improvement in the shape and contour of the area.

How soon will I be able to return to work?

Each patient recovers at a different rate and the amount of time each patient requires off work depends upon the level of activity at his or her job. The typical patient is able to return to a desk job within 3-5 days, if not sooner. A patient whose job requires a lot of lifting and physical labor will need additional time off work.

Will I need a driver to and from my procedure?

Because liposuction requires some amount of sedation, though you will not be under general anesthesia, you will need someone to drive you home and stay with you for approximately 24 hours after your procedure.

What is liposuction?

Is the fat removal permanent?
